Yes, you can order a sample of any item directly from its product page. Simply go to the product overview section and select ‘Order a sample’.

When you request your Visual Proof, provide your Pantone colour references and we’ll use the exact codes. If you’re unsure of your Pantone colours, our Pantone-matching system will find the closest available match, which is then checked by our in-house experts. For digital or full-colour printing, Pantone references are used as a guide. Although an exact match may not always be possible, we’ll get it as close as we can. We’ll show you how it will look on your Visual Proof for you to check before production starts.

We accept all common artwork file formats. Vector files such as SVG, AI, EPS or PDF usually give the best results, but don’t worry if you don’t have one. JPEGs and PNGs are absolutely fine too.

Simply upload the best version of your logo you have and our in-house design team will check it and take care of the rest.

The delivery dates shown online are always the quickest we can guarantee. We’d much rather give you our very best guaranteed lead time upfront than promise an earlier date and fail to deliver.

If a product can’t arrive in time, use the delivery date filter on our category pages. Simply select the date you need your merchandise by, and we’ll show you the products available for guaranteed delivery on or before that date. If your deadline is particularly close, you can also browse our Express Products range.

Remember, these are ‘delivery by’ dates. We’ll always aim to get your order to you sooner whenever possible.

Minimums are set per product rather than as a company policy, and a stocked notebook branded to your artwork will usually have a lower minimum than one manufactured to your specification, because only the branding step is a custom one. The minimum shown on each product page is the one that applies. If it is higher than you need, ask, because there is often a comparable notebook with a lower threshold.

Individual personalisation alongside a company logo is what separates a client gift from branded merchandise, and it is worth asking about at the briefing stage rather than after you have chosen a product, because it affects both the branding method and the lead time. It suits a defined list of key accounts better than a large distribution, since each cover is handled separately.

Paper weight matters more than page count. Lighter paper is cheaper and fine for a pencil or ballpoint, but a fountain pen, gel pen or marker will ghost through to the reverse. If the notebook is a client gift, assume the recipient owns a decent pen and choose heavier paper. On page count, a moderate number of pages in good paper beats a thick notebook in thin paper, and it costs less to ship. Both figures are on each product page.

A5 for almost everything. It is large enough to write in properly and small enough to carry in a bag, which is why it is the standard for both conference use and client gifting. Choose A4 if recipients will be working alongside printed handouts, as in training or workshops. A6 and pocket sizes suit jotting rather than note taking, so they work better as giveaways than as gifts.
